In October 2000, the Werner Klein Gallery opened its first exhibition in downtown Cologne. From the beginning the focus was on minimalist conceptual works, since 2003 largely from the field of contemporary drawing.
In 2006, the gallery moved to its current location in the south of Cologne, a factory building from the beginning of the 20th century, which since the early 1980s has housed art galleries, dance theatres, architecture offices and artists' studios.

In the gallery's 120th exhibition, the anniversary exhibition, we show works by all 20 artists* represented by the gallery as well as some selected works from the gallery's history.
